The Sha La La’s have established themselves as one of the ‘go to’ outfits on London’s live scene with their infectious brand of guitar and Hammond-fuelled blend of Mod ’n’ Soul.
The driving force of the band is lead singer Darron Robinson, whose energy, positive lyricism and stage presence make him a perfect frontman. Backed up by one of the tightest bands around, John “Pax” Piccirillo’s driving rhythms, Billy Adam’s thumping, melodic bass complementing John lee’s skilfully woven and dynamic Hammond organ tones.
Recent sold out shows both home and abroad and their latest Detour Records release Kindness is Kindness featuring on the Craig Charles BBC 6 “Funk ‘n’ Soul Show” have led to what is going to be an exciting 2026 for the band, with a new single release in January and playing the My Generation weekender, the Mods Mayday festival and the Ebrovision festival in Spain to name just a few of the exciting shows coming up.
